In the 3rd minute, Isidro De Gavardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nibiru X fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Nibiru X's Isidro De Gavardo got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isidro De Gavardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafael Maria Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro De Gavardo in the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute of the match Nibiru X got a corner. Holmes FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Renato Kilpatrick ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rafael Maria Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro De Gavardo in the 19th minute of play. Nibiru X were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Holmes FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Renato Kilpatrick took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Renato Kilpatrick got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rafael Maria Navarro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Isidro De Gavardo struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Rafael Maria Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nibiru X. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Isidro De Gavardo sped through Holmes FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rafael Maria Navarro. Nibiru X's Isidro De Gavardo got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rafael Maria Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro De Gavardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isidro De Gavardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafael Maria Navarro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isidro De Gavardo ran back to his position shaking his head. Rafael Maria Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro De Gavardo in the 28th minute of the match. Rafael Maria Navarro came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Nibiru X's Isidro De Gavardo. But to his dismay, Isidro De Gavardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Nibiru X were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Holmes FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Renato Kilpatrick took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Adelino Monsalve managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Dario Osorio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Maria Navarro having to interfere. The supporters of Holmes FC booed when Nibiru X was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godofredo Bombal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute Victoro Collados shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darío Friederichs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isidro De Gavardo to make the kick off. Isidro De Gavardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rafael Maria Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro De Gavardo in the 52nd minute of the match. Cerilo Cáceres hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Nibiru X's Diego Armando Faine was substituted for Isidro De Gavardo. Nibiru X made a substitution. Fabio Caviedes replaced Dario Osorio. In the 58th match minute, Holmes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cerilo Cáceres to maneuver through the defense. After 62nd play minutes Román Grebe shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Rafael Maria Navarro and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Holmes FC booed when Nibiru X was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godofredo Bombal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Román Grebe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Rafael Maria Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Holmes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Román Grebe came free, but Rafael Maria Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 73rd play minutes Román Grebe shot 0-6, a short shot which went by Rafael Maria Navarro and just under the crossbar into goal. Román Grebes short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Rafael Maria Navarro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Holmes FC's Rafael Maria Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Holmes FC from getting a goal against them. Diego Armando Faine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Maria Navarro having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Fabio Caviedes put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Rafael Maria Navarro. The audience was convinced that Román Grebe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rafael Maria Navarro was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Rafael Maria Navarro came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Nibiru X's Román Grebe. But to his dismay, Román Grebe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8.
