Agustín Alvarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clive Shilton having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Agustín Alvarez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Clive Shilton, 2-0. In the 24th minute Marcelo Zalayeta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clive Shilton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustín Alvarez got free with Clive Shilton in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Tala Bosques del Jaure booed when PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asım Arif Rasi didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was a well-played corner which Usain Bolt managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustín Alvarez got free with Clive Shilton in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cafu Negri came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Tala Bosques del Jaure's Tadeu Gøth. But to his dismay, Tadeu Gøth quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 42nd minute, PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's Marcelo Zalayeta ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Clive Shilton. Clive Shilton yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgar Rasiak during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's Edgar Rasiak got a free kick in the 47th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tadeu Gøth made a kick off. A collision led to PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Agustín Alvarez hit a great ball. Tala Bosques del Jaure's Clive Shilton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Alvarez in the 53rd minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Marcelo Zalayeta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clive Shilton. Tala Bosques del Jaure's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcelo Zalayeta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Tala Bosques del Jaure made a substitution. Cafu Negri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. In the 74th minute Procopio Mayorga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clive Shilton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Azibar Blanch charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With an all-out effort, Tala Bosques del Jaure's Cafu Negri threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from 庄广乐, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
