Ermengol Baena came out of the goal and Usain Bolt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s Ermengol Baena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Zalayeta in the 20th minute of play. In the 28th minute Marcelo Zalayeta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermengol Baena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON were awarded a corner. Lukasz Klucznik went to the cornerflag to take it. Cafu Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franco Bosch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cafu Negri came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s Franco Bosch. But to his dismay, Franco Bosch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Marcelo Zalayeta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Ermengol Baena made a huge save. Ermengol Baena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Usain Bolt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Franco Bosch came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franco Bosch couldn't finish the play. After the first half ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st match minute, PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lukasz Klucznik to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franco Bosch in the 52nd minute of play forced PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's goalkeeper Cafu Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ermengol Baena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Zalayeta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ermengol Baena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Zalayeta, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 70th match minute, PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asım Arif Rasi to maneuver through the defense. Marcelo Zalayeta took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ermengol Baena. After 85 minutes of play, ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s Nicollao Narbona made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cafu Negri was left in no man's land by his defense there!
