Ticho Covarrubias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Txilar Redin having to interfere. After 7 played minutes Montevideo City Torque got a freekick which was hit by Yves Passot. Yves Passot succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 10th playminute. Christophe Troxler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joey Tribbiani, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Danel Boliana heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The throw-in from Satordi Gao in the 23rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Montevideo City Torque's Gu Sha Zhen. Christophe Troxler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edson Vuelva, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After a rather tough play, I.A.S.A's Satordi Gao got a free kick in the 30th minute. Txilar Redin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yves Passot in the 31st minute of play. In the 36th minute, I.A.S.A's Danel Boliana seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Danel Boliana the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of I.A.S.A protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Danel Boliana had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. I.A.S.A:s Txilar Redin showed great skill when he stopped Alkestis Papadopulos:s penalty. Montevideo City Torque were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after I.A.S.A's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alkestis Papadopulos took the corner. Yves Passot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Txilar Redin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yves Passot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led I.A.S.A's Ourente Echart to fire away a dangerous shot which Christophe Troxler despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yves Passot stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benito Gallegos charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benito Gallegos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 60th minute, Benito Gallegos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Montevideo City Torque's Reuben Meade was substituted for Yves Passot. In the 62nd match minute, Montevideo City Torque was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benito Gallegos to maneuver through the defense. Txilar Redin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reuben Meade, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Reuben Meade's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Txilar Redin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. A collision led to Montevideo City Torque getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Cristian Leizaur hit a great ball. In the 70th match minute, I.A.S.A was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavon Rio to maneuver through the defense. Txilar Redin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alkestis Papadopulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Reuben Meade quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The Montevideo City Torque players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
