Spectators: 176 (Terracing: 133, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Atletico Maturrango's Florencio Herbella started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Brecht Dheedene shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Weather Piedrahita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Atletico Maturrango's goal looked a bit too open when Brecht Dheedene came free, but Weather Piedrahita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Atletico Maturrango's Florencio Herbella sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Themba Takane narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lucas Sardaneta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Inacio Fidalgo took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Weather Piedrahita. Weather Piedrahita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 22nd minute Brecht Dheedene shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Weather Piedrahita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Florencio Herbella had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Themba Takane. Cimarrones F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florencio Herbella was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Weather Piedrahita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brecht Dheedene in the 40th minute of play. In the 44th minute of the game Eloy Janez made a throw-in which Brecht Dheedene played forward. Florencio Herbella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Themba Takane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brecht Dheedene to make the kick off. Weather Piedrahita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brecht Dheedene in the 56th minute of play. Marcial Zuazna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Themba Takane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Cimarrones F.C.'s zone, Ederono Ojero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Themba Takane came out of the goal and Ederono Ojero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Themba Takane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ederono Ojero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ederono Ojero in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Themba Takane saved Cimarrones F.C. from getting behind. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
