The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florencio Herbella in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remie Kint prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13th minute Boguslaw Dziedelonis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Weather Piedrahita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remie Kint showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florencio Herbella in the 18th minute of the match. Remie Kint was a little too slow when Marcial Zuazna got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Herbella in the 25th minute of play forced C.S.D Punta Ballena's goalkeeper Remie Kint to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorre Van De Beeck was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 25 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in C.S.D Punta Ballena fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! Weather Piedrahita came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by C.S.D Punta Ballena's Alvino Blanco. But to his dismay, Alvino Blanco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Bidari Sorriba made in the 34th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Brion Heyros however managed to control. A collision led to Atletico Maturrango getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Florencio Herbella hit a great ball. Primo Valcarcel hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Boguslaw Dziedelonis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Weather Piedrahita having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Florencio Herbella made the kick off in the second half. C.S.D Punta Ballena's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Brion Heyros in the 55th minute. Atletico Maturrango's Florencio Herbella got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. C.S.D Punta Ballena's Ma Xiang Yang was substituted for Boguslaw Dziedelonis. 65 minutes into the match, Atletico Maturrango's goal looked a bit too open when Alvino Blanco came free, but Weather Piedrahita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ma Xiang Yang got free with Weather Piedrahita in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Herbella in the 76th minute of play forced C.S.D Punta Ballena's goalkeeper Remie Kint to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C.S.D Punta Ballena's Remie Kint played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florencio Herbella in the 79th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brion Heyros got free with Weather Piedrahita in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ma Xiang Yang hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. C.S.D Punta Ballena made a substitution. Celio Velazquez replaced Brion Heyros. Atletico Maturrango's Ederono Ojero was substituted for Florencio Herbella. A collision led to C.S.D Punta Ballena getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Ma Xiang Yang hit a great ball. If Marcial Zuazna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Remie Kint made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ederono Ojero in the 91st minute of play. C.S.D Punta Ballena's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
