Nebojša Jerić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nurettin Ula in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, --Sibenik--'s goal looked a bit too open when Neno Gudelj came free, but Vello Landi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Crni Tigrovi booed when --Sibenik-- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Perišić didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nebojša Jerić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antun Bunić in the 29th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tihomir Zdorc during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Neno Gudelj fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vello Landi having to interfere. Gradimir Venturin kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Nurettin Ula received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nebojša Jerić came out and tried to block the shot, but Nurettin Ula slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 44th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

--Sibenik--'s Branko Furmek was substituted for Gradimir Venturin. In the 55th minute of the match, Pawel Harendarski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vello Landi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Nebojša Jerić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nurettin Ula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Crni Tigrovi's Pompiliu Bacalbașa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Garikoitz Revuelta kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. --Sibenik--'s Domagoj Kovič was substituted for Tihomir Zdorc. Garikoitz Revuelta hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the match, --Sibenik--'s Jasenko Rogošić broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Nebojša Jerić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antun Bunić in the 73rd minute of the match. Velimir Vizek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Vello Landi made a huge save. --Sibenik--'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
