Vello Landi came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Lipovljani's Nikifor Kulaksúzov. But to his dismay, Nikifor Kulaksúzov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Vello Landi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cvjetko Štokić in the 8th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Lipovljani's goal looked a bit too open when Antun Bunić came free, but Gabrijel Jovanovski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. --Sibenik--'s Antun Bunić got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nurettin Ula in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gabrijel Jovanovski saved Lipovljani from getting behind. Vello Landi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikifor Kulaksúzov, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the game, Jasenko Rogošić cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Gabrijel Jovanovski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gabrijel Jovanovski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nurettin Ula, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. With his leg Vello Landi managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Lipovljani's Nikifor Kulaksúzov fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Arsen Vukša sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lipovljani's Gabrijel Jovanovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antun Bunić in the 65th minute of play. Nurettin Ula received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Gabrijel Jovanovski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. --Sibenik-- made a substitution. Domagoj Kovič replaced Tihomir Zdorc. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dražen Repac got free with Gabrijel Jovanovski in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 84th match minute, Lipovljani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valter Vidulić to maneuver through the defense. Vello Landi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cvjetko Štokić in the 88th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, --Sibenik--'s goal looked a bit too open when Cvjetko Štokić came free, but Vello Landi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cvjetko Štokić in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vello Landi saved --Sibenik-- from getting behind. Egon Škare kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Valter Vidulić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Lipovljani players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
