In the 18th minute, Arsenij Andonov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Zachary Parzysz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the SAN DIEGO defense, Kazimir Vrebac kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugon Skaradoski. The SAN DIEGO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugon Skaradoski should have stopped the shot. Hugon Skaradoski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zachary Parzysz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugon Skaradoski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zachary Parzysz in the 41st minute of play. Hugon Skaradoski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kazimir Vrebac, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Florencio Hanni was substituted for Ninoslav Stipanić. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kitan Kikerkovski to strike the kick off in the second half. Ermir Jovevski's late challenge caught a GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ermir Jovevski helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, SAN DIEGO's Ermir Jovevski got a free kick in the 75th minute. A collision led to SAN DIEGO getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Demirhan Şimşek hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Mile Šljivar tried to score from far away in the 77th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute of the match GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ got a corner. SAN DIEGO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mile Šljivar ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Mile Šljivar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hugon Skaradoski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Zachary Parzysz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 82ndth minute, Hugon Skaradoski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Zachary Parzysz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to SAN DIEGO getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Ruse Mateski hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zachary Parzysz in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugon Skaradoski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
