Valeriu Morovan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Konstantin Pančur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Viktor Kilberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zlatko Goričan, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. If Pavel Boboc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Duško Turnšek's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Viktor Kilberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Konstantin Pančur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valeriu Morovan, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Viktor Kilberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Duško Turnšek's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Pavel Boboc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konstantin Pančur having to interfere. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind HIT Gorica's goalkeeper Konstantin Pančur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Radway United were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after HIT Gorica's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Florian De Werdt took the corner. Duško Turnšek's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Viktor Kilberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valeriu Morovan in the 33rd minute of play forced HIT Gorica's goalkeeper Konstantin Pančur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Duško Turnšek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aquiles Telmo might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Konstantin Pančur. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aquiles Telmo ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Radway United's Dame Plata got a free kick in the 40th minute. Viktor Kilberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Duško Turnšek in the 41st minute. Konstantin Pančur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valeriu Morovan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pavel Boboc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Konstantin Pančur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Pavel Boboc made the kick off in the second half. Radway United were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after HIT Gorica's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Florian De Werdt took the corner. Valeriu Morovan was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. If Florian De Werdt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. HIT Gorica's Richard Koštomaj was substituted for László Tar. In the 63rd match minute, Radway United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavel Boboc to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute, Radway United's Aquiles Telmo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Konstantin Pančur. Konstantin Pančur yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Konstantin Pančur made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Pavel Boboc sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 72 minutes, Pavel Boboc managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Radway United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pavel Boboc was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Viktor Kilberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zlatko Goričan in the 75th minute of the match. With a little luck, HIT Gorica's Konstantin Pančur got control of the ball when Geovanildo Zago tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 83rd match minute, HIT Gorica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zlatko Goričan to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute, Zlatko Goričan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The HIT Gorica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Radway United made a substitution. Uglješa Janjić replaced Pavel Boboc. The supporters of Radway United booed when HIT Gorica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quentin Willmott didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uglješa Janjić's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Konstantin Pančur firmly grabbed it by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Istok Šabotić during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The HIT Gorica players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
