After 7 minutes, Tomasz Pietrasz made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Nimród Vére's Krisztián Sydbøge tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tomasz Pietraszs short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Krisztián Sydbøge to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Pál Mester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tivadar Sörös, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Krisztián Sydbøge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomasz Pietrasz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Nimród Vére's goal looked a bit too open when Tomasz Pietrasz came free, but Krisztián Sydbøge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Vitéz Döbrögi fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nimród Vére's protests and gave Vitéz Döbrögi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th match minute, Nimród Vére was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitéz Döbrögi to maneuver through the defense. Ede Edelényi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Pál Mester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Krisztián Sydbøge made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomasz Pietrasz in the 32nd minute. In the 35th minute Tivadar Sörös shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pál Mester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Csaba Szakál fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nimród Vére's protests and gave Csaba Szakál a yellow card for diving instead. Csaba Szakál kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Tomasz Pietrasz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Krisztián Sydbøge was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. In the 40th minute, Elek Elek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nimród Vére's Tivadar Sörös got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomasz Pietrasz in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Krisztián Sydbøge, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Károly Baranyai kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tivadar Sörös in the 45th minute of play forced Red Devils's goalkeeper Pál Mester to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomasz Pietrasz made a kick off. After 57 played minutes Nimród Vére got a freekick which was hit by Csaba Szakál. Krisztián Sydbøge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomasz Pietrasz in the 57th minute of play. Róbert Vadas hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Tomasz Pietrasz scored 3-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Krisztián Sydbøge, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 63 minutes into the match, Nimród Vére's goal looked a bit too open when Fabien Van Daelen came free, but Krisztián Sydbøge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Red Devils made a substitution. Zsombor Karsai replaced David Villa. Red Devils's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Roland Nagy in the 65th minute. It was a well-played corner which Fabien Van Daelen managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When Red Devils's Tomasz Pietrasz in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Krisztián Sydbøge prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Krisztián Sydbøge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zsombor Karsai in the 77th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Tomasz Pietrasz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krisztián Sydbøge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Örs Novák kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Red Devils's Mihály Szalai was substituted for Orlando Rivera. Red Devils's József Koczka was substituted for Tomasz Pietrasz. After 82 played minutes Nimród Vére got a freekick which was hit by Örs Novák. Krisztián Sydbøge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from József Koczka in the 83rd minute of play. In the 87thth minute of the game Bendegúz Ördög who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Red Devils's Pál Mester was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers József Koczka in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Krisztián Sydbøge saved Nimród Vére from getting behind. In the 95thth minute of the game József Koczka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nimród Vére's Krisztián Sydbøge was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee ended the match the Red Devils players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
