Krisztián Sydbøge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miklós Fehér in the 13th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Nimród Vére's goal looked a bit too open when Miklós Fehér came free, but Krisztián Sydbøge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20thth minute of the game Miklós Fehér who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nimród Vére's Krisztián Sydbøge was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miklós Fehér in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Krisztián Sydbøge prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The FC Budapest fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when FC Budapest's Miklós Fehér looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After the first half FC Budapest were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Thanks to some nice moves Miklós Fehér could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Krisztián Sydbøge however easily saved by the left post. Bálint Hellinger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tivadar Sörös, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The FC Budapest players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
