Gafur Salim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vencel Mezei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. In the 17th minute Bertil Albäck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zdeněk Vošahlík saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dinamo Pécs FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Herberto Mascarenhas was slow to take the kick. During this time Pénzügyőr SE's players had a chance to rest. After 23rd play minutes Bertil Albäck shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Zdeněk Vošahlík and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertil Albäck in the 27th minute of play forced Dinamo Pécs FC's goalkeeper Zdeněk Vošahlík to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bertil Albäck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Zdeněk Vošahlík tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Viktor Szaniszló shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zdeněk Vošahlík saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vencel Mezei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Attila Győri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute Roman Noe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vencel Mezei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38thth minute of the game Bertil Albäck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dinamo Pécs FC's Zdeněk Vošahlík was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gafur Salim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Pénzügyőr SE's zone, Gafur Salim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vencel Mezei came out of the goal and Gafur Salim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 56 minutes, Bertil Albäck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pénzügyőr SE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bertil Albäck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gafur Salim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vencel Mezei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute Dinamo Pécs FC were awarded a corner. Gáspár Czibor went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 67thth minute of the game Gafur Salim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pénzügyőr SE's Vencel Mezei was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Pénzügyőr SE's Bertil Albäck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zdeněk Vošahlík narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pénzügyőr SE's Vencel Mezei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gafur Salim in the 76th minute of play. Vencel Mezei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dániel Selymes in the 78th minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Attila Győri made a precise shot to the right of Vencel Mezei. Pénzügyőr SE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Vencel Mezei stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gafur Salim's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Dinamo Pécs FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bertil Albäck came free, but Zdeněk Vošahlík reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
