Barnabás Pölöskei was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Miklós Fehér scored 3-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Barnabás Pölöskei, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 16 minutes, Dániel Selymes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dinamo Pécs FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dániel Selymes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Budapest's Bálint Hellinger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dániel Selymes in the 19th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Miklós Fehér could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Barnabás Pölöskei however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of FC Budapest booed when Dinamo Pécs FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Álmos Kálmán didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barnabás Pölöskei was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Miklós Fehér capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Miklós Fehér really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Barnabás Pölöskei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ákos Bihari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Dinamo Pécs FC's goalkeeper Barnabás Pölöskei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Botond Kutasi. FC Budapest's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Félix Kis in the 30th minute. After 31 minutes, Roman Noe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dinamo Pécs FC and the FC Budapest players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Budapest booed when Dinamo Pécs FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Noe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Dinamo Pécs FC's goalkeeper Barnabás Pölöskei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Dániel Selymes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dinamo Pécs FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Botond Kutasi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barnabás Pölöskei having to interfere. Barnabás Pölöskei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ákos Bihari in the 41st minute of the match. Ákos Bihari took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Barnabás Pölöskei. Barnabás Pölöskei dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. After 45 minutes of play, FC Budapest's Miklós Fehér made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Barnabás Pölöskei was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Attila Győri made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Botond Kutasi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Barnabás Pölöskei was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 60 minutes into the match, Dinamo Pécs FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miklós Fehér came free, but Barnabás Pölöskei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, FC Budapest's Ákos Bihari nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Barnabás Pölöskei made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-1. After 65 minutes of play, FC Budapest's Miklós Fehér made it 9-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Barnabás Pölöskei was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 71st match minute, Dinamo Pécs FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Noe to maneuver through the defense. Ákos Bihari took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Barnabás Pölöskei. Barnabás Pölöskei dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-1. After a defensive mix-up in Dinamo Pécs FC's zone, Miklós Fehér stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barnabás Pölöskei came out of the goal and Miklós Fehér tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Barnabás Pölöskei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miklós Fehér, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute Botond Kutasi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barnabás Pölöskei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Ákos Bihari had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Barnabás Pölöskei. Dinamo Pécs FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ákos Bihari was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-1. 93 minutes into the match, FC Budapest's goal looked a bit too open when Attila Győri came free, but Bálint Hellinger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Miklós Fehér left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Budapest fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-1. There was no doubt that FC Budapest were the better team. FC Budapest's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
