Jurand Rutkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Zalán Kovács had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Csongor Csorba received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. István Virágh came out and tried to block the shot, but Csongor Csorba slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 22nd minute. István Virágh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zalán Kovács's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. When Szajk LC's Zalán Kovács in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Corrado's goalie prevented a goal. If Zalán Kovács had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Márk Kuti took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for András Horváth. Szajk LC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Zalán Kovács fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without István Virágh having to interfere. András Horváth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukács Bolla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Csongor Csorba got free with István Virágh in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Zalán Kovács had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Corrado's István Virágh proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save FC Corrado from getting a goal against them. 46 minutes into the game, Zalán Kovács lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated István Virágh. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

FC Corrado made a substitution. Szilveszter Titkos replaced Lukács Bolla. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jurand Rutkowski made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Szajk LC's Zalán Kovács sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that István Virágh narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Zalán Kovács ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. István Virágh was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Jurand Rutkowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but András Horváth read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of Szajk LC booed when FC Corrado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andor Forró didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute, Andor Forró hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute, FC Corrado's Jurand Rutkowski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind András Horváth. András Horváth yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Jurand Rutkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Levente Makkai in the 80th minute of play forced FC Corrado's goalkeeper István Virágh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Szajk LC's Zénó Polgár was substituted for Dávid Benkó. FC Corrado's Richárd Kozma was substituted for Valentin Tunyogi. The supporters of FC Corrado booed when Szajk LC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Szily didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Szajk LC's goal looked a bit too open when Szilveszter Titkos came free, but András Horváth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Szajk LC's Levente Makkai in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Corrado's goalie prevented a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Corrado players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Szajk LC.
