Komlói Bányász SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Balassagyarmat SC the free kick. After 4 played minutes Komlói Bányász SK got a freekick which was hit by Ádám Bíró. In the 11th minute, Ádám Bíró left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Komlói Bányász SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Komlói Bányász SK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bence Mester in the 19th minute. After 19 played minutes Balassagyarmat SC got a freekick which was hit by Máté Elek. 20 minutes into the game, Ádám Bíró cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Attila Mesterházy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bence Mester in the 22nd minute of play forced Balassagyarmat SC's goalkeeper Attila Mesterházy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 played minutes Balassagyarmat SC got a freekick which was hit by Máté Elek. Ádám Bíró blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Attila Mesterházy having to make a save. Komlói Bányász SK's Ádám Bíró suffered a concussion after 28 minutes and had to leave the field. 29 minutes into the game, László Csank was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Balassagyarmat SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Komlói Bányász SK the free kick. Komlói Bányász SK's Vendel Berecz was substituted for Ádám Bíró. In the 28th minute, one of Balassagyarmat SC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Balassagyarmat SC. Bence Mester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Attila Mesterházy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihály Benke in the 35th minute of play forced Balassagyarmat SC's goalkeeper Attila Mesterházy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the game, Vendel Berecz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Attila Mesterházy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Bence Mester had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mihály Benke kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd match minute, Balassagyarmat SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavel Alexandru to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the match, Balassagyarmat SC's goal looked a bit too open when Vendel Berecz came free, but Attila Mesterházy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Komlói Bányász SK's Miklós Madaras proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Komlói Bányász SK from getting a goal against them. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vendel Berecz to strike the kick off in the second half. Attila Mesterházy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vendel Berecz in the 51st minute of play. Pavel Alexandru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miklós Madaras having to interfere. When Komlói Bányász SK's Vendel Berecz in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Balassagyarmat SC's goalie prevented a goal. Attila Mesterházy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bence Mester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Vendel Berecz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th match minute, Balassagyarmat SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lukács Pető to maneuver through the defense. When Vendel Berecz came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Komlói Bányász SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vendel Berecz couldn't finish the play. 67 minutes into the match, Balassagyarmat SC's goalkeeper Attila Mesterházy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bence Mester. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vendel Berecz in the 72nd minute of play forced Balassagyarmat SC's goalkeeper Attila Mesterházy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vendel Berecz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Attila Mesterházy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vendel Berecz in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Attila Mesterházy saved Balassagyarmat SC from getting behind. Attila Mesterházy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vendel Berecz's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. In the 84thth minute of the game Vendel Berecz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Balassagyarmat SC's Attila Mesterházy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Balassagyarmat SC's goal looked a bit too open when Vendel Berecz came free, but Attila Mesterházy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Komlói Bányász SK's Béla Balázs got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The Balassagyarmat SC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Komlói Bányász SK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
