An unexpectedly hard shot by Gergely Bodonyi in the 5th minute of play forced Balassagyarmat SC's goalkeeper Attila Mesterházy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Claudio Francescoli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Attila Mesterházy. Balassagyarmat SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudio Francescoli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Karl Albi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Szárnyaló Sasok's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl Albi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Attila Mesterházy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Gergely Bodonyi sped through Balassagyarmat SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Attila Mesterházy. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gergely Bodonyi in the 14th minute of play forced Balassagyarmat SC's goalkeeper Attila Mesterházy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Christian Kilstedt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The supporters of Szárnyaló Sasok booed when Balassagyarmat SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Kilstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Attila Mesterházy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krisztián Albert in the 18th minute of the match. Tamás Havasi's late challenge caught a Szárnyaló Sasok's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tamás Havasi helped the player get up and apologised. After some careless play in the Balassagyarmat SC defense, Gergely Bodonyi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Attila Mesterházy. The Balassagyarmat SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Attila Mesterházy should have stopped the shot. After having played for 23 minutes, Karl Albi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Szárnyaló Sasok's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl Albi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Gergely Bodonyi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Attila Mesterházy was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Christian Kilstedt came free with the goalkeeper in the 27th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Márk Csáki could save by the left post. In the 41stth minute of the game Gergely Bodonyi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Balassagyarmat SC's Attila Mesterházy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 42 minutes, Máté Elek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balassagyarmat SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Máté Elek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Balassagyarmat SC's goal looked a bit too open when Gergely Bodonyi came free, but Attila Mesterházy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45thth minute of the game Gergely Bodonyi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Balassagyarmat SC's Attila Mesterházy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for László Madaras to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute László Madaras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Márk Csáki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Máté Elek, 54 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Attila Mesterházy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gergely Bodonyi in the 56th minute. Szárnyaló Sasok's Márk Csáki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by László Madaras in the 58th minute of play. Gergely Bodonyi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Attila Mesterházy when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 62nd play minutes Gergely Bodonyi shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Attila Mesterházy and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Szárnyaló Sasok booed when Balassagyarmat SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zsombor Medve didn't get a good kick on the ball. Balassagyarmat SC made a substitution. László Csank replaced Christian Kilstedt. Szárnyaló Sasok's Krisztián Albert shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 68th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Attila Mesterházy but with some difficulty. Karl Albi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Attila Mesterházy skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Claudio Francescoli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Attila Mesterházy made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Gergely Bodonyi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Attila Mesterházy was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 80th minute Máté Elek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Márk Csáki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 minutes Szárnyaló Sasok's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Máté Elek who took care of the corner kick. László Madaras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Márk Csáki having to interfere. Pavel Alexandru kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Gergely Bodonyis short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Attila Mesterházy to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
