Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Walmir Breckenfeld started the match with the kick off. Gyál United's Horaţiu Petran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Gyál United from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konstantinos Kroustallis in the 7th minute of play forced FC Henter Somosd's goalkeeper Paulo Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tamás Antal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Horaţiu Petran read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Horaţiu Petran stood somewhat misplaced when Tamás Antal came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 10 minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konstantinos Kroustallis in the 16th minute of play forced FC Henter Somosd's goalkeeper Paulo Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horaţiu Petran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Mees, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Ulises Ugaitz hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute Konstantinos Kroustallis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Gyál United's goal looked a bit too open when Bart van Goetsenhoven came free, but Horaţiu Petran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, FC Henter Somosd's goal looked a bit too open when Konstantinos Kroustallis came free, but Paulo Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Gyál United's Walmir Breckenfeld sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulo Leão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gyál United's Horaţiu Petran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tamás Antal in the 36th minute of play. Gyál United's Horaţiu Petran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Gyál United from getting a goal against them.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bart van Goetsenhoven was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Sulev Aare hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gyál United's goalkeeper Horaţiu Petran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Horaţiu Petran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bart van Goetsenhoven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Bart van Goetsenhoven left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Henter Somosd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Bart van Goetsenhoven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Horaţiu Petran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Horaţiu Petran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bart van Goetsenhoven in the 64th minute of play. A collision led to FC Henter Somosd getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Tamás Antal hit a great ball. FC Henter Somosd's Arnd Schade was substituted for Bart van Goetsenhoven. After 72 played minutes FC Henter Somosd got a freekick which was hit by Tamás Antal. Konstantinos Kroustallis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Paulo Leão made a huge save. With a little luck, FC Henter Somosd's Paulo Leão got control of the ball when Walmir Breckenfeld tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Henter Somosd's Ulises Ugaitz got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Horaţiu Petran came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Henter Somosd's Emánuel Soltész. But to his dismay, Emánuel Soltész quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 96 minutes into the match, Emánuel Soltész had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horaţiu Petran. Gyál United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emánuel Soltész was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gyál United players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Henter Somosd.
