After 3 minutes of play, Zalasárszeg OSE's Kálmán Gácsi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Illés Kiss was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kálmán Gácsi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Illés Kiss having to make a save. In the 11th minute of the match Zalasárszeg OSE got a corner. Újlõrincfalva LC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Márton Horváth ran over to the corner to take the kick. Zalasárszeg OSE were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Újlõrincfalva LC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Márton Horváth took the corner. The corner led Zalasárszeg OSE's Kálmán Gácsi to fire away a dangerous shot which Illés Kiss despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Kálmán Gácsi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Illés Kiss. Újlõrincfalva LC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kálmán Gácsi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Illés Kiss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kálmán Gácsi in the 25th minute of play. Illés Kiss didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Csaba Végvári went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Újlõrincfalva LC's Illés Kiss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Márton Horváth in the 38th minute of play. Csaba Végvári blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Illés Kiss having to make a save. Illés Kiss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Márton Horváth in the 41st minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Újlõrincfalva LC's Boldizsár Szabados ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind György Tóth. György Tóth yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Kálmán Gácsi took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Illés Kiss. Illés Kiss dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Szabolcs Vígh was the one to do the kick off. 50 minutes into the match, Zalasárszeg OSE's goal looked a bit too open when Boldizsár Szabados came free, but György Tóth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 52 minutes into the game, when Máté Bíró put in a rough tackle. In the 54th minute Kálmán Gácsi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Illés Kiss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Zsolt Gergely fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Újlõrincfalva LC's protests and gave Zsolt Gergely a yellow card for diving instead. Zsolt Gergely kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. With a little luck, Újlõrincfalva LC's Illés Kiss got control of the ball when Kálmán Gácsi tried to sneak it across the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Újlõrincfalva LC's goalkeeper Illés Kiss had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Márton Horváth. After 62 played minutes Zalasárszeg OSE got a freekick which was hit by Csaba Végvári. 66 minutes into the match, Zalasárszeg OSE's goal looked a bit too open when Szabolcs Vígh came free, but György Tóth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Zalasárszeg OSE's Csaba Végvári slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Illés Kiss. That made the score 1-5 after 69 minutes of play. After some careless play in the Újlõrincfalva LC defense, Kálmán Gácsi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Illés Kiss. The Újlõrincfalva LC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Illés Kiss should have stopped the shot. György Tóth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szabolcs Vígh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by Újlõrincfalva LC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Márton Horváth was slow to take the kick. During this time Zalasárszeg OSE's players had a chance to rest. In the 89th minute, Tamás Herczegh made a precise shot to the right of Illés Kiss. Újlõrincfalva LC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-7. In the 92nd minute, Máté Gellért hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute, Zsolt Gergely made a precise shot to the right of György Tóth. Zalasárszeg OSE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-7. Zalasárszeg OSE's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
