The crowd rose to their feet as Hungarian Olympic's Mátyás Zakariás slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cristinel Tomulescu. That made the score 3-1 after 31 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Endre Révész got free with Cristinel Tomulescu in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
