The audience thought a goal was coming when Cosimo Michelini got free with Matúš Duda in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eduard Žufa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Štefan Semeno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Real Račianska's goalkeeper Matúš Duda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fulgencio Berdoi. After a defensive mix-up in Villarreal FK's zone, Michal Pecze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Štefan Semeno came out of the goal and Michal Pecze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matúš Duda was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Matúš Tomeček capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Matúš Tomeček really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. After some careless play in the Real Račianska defense, Cosimo Michelini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matúš Duda. The Real Račianska fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matúš Duda should have stopped the shot. Matúš Duda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matúš Tomeček in the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th match minute, Real Račianska was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matej Diamant to maneuver through the defense. Mark Täman scored 5-0 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matúš Duda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Matúš Duda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulgencio Berdoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Villarreal FK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
