Bernard Lukáčik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matej Zedník, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Real Račianska's Michal Pecze nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernard Lukáčik made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Martin Kočan hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Miroslav Čačko reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Matúš Duda. The goal made the score 1-1. Real Račianska's Eduard Žufa got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FK Mazda Svidník's Bernard Lukáčik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michal Pecze in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute Eduard Žufa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernard Lukáčik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Viktor Červeň had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernard Lukáčik. FK Mazda Svidník's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Viktor Červeň was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Michal Pecze scored 1-3 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernard Lukáčik, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to FK Mazda Svidník getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Gabriel Valachovič hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Eduard Žufa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eduard Žufa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Viktor Červeň put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Bernard Lukáčik. Disappointed in the 1-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viktor Červeň to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Michal Pecze took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Bernard Lukáčik to make any attempt to save it. Matúš Duda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincent Bubán in the 56th minute of play. A collision led to Real Račianska getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Ivan Tandara hit a great ball. Viktor Červeň took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernard Lukáčik. Bernard Lukáčik dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7. Matej Diamant kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Martin Kočan hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Imrich Abrahamfy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matúš Duda having to interfere. If Eduard Žufa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Real Račianska's Tibor Masný got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind FK Mazda Svidník's goalkeeper Bernard Lukáčik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner ended in Eduard Žufa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FK Mazda Svidník's Bernard Lukáčik did a great save. FK Mazda Svidník's Bernard Lukáčik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Červeň in the 80th minute of play. After some careless play in the FK Mazda Svidník defense, Michal Pecze kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernard Lukáčik. The FK Mazda Svidník fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernard Lukáčik should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduard Žufa in the 90th minute of play forced FK Mazda Svidník's goalkeeper Bernard Lukáčik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernard Lukáčik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viktor Červeň, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
