After 4 minutes, Richard Kremeň mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Melon and the Kukova United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th minute Martin Kudlak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Manex saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Kukova United's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Kudlak came free, but Simon Manex reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute Jacek Gotfryd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ján Tuleja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Kudlak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Simon Manex having to make a save. Lukáš Greško kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Erik Malý shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ján Tuleja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Kudlak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Simon Manex tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 26 played minutes FC Melon got a freekick which was hit by Matej Adamec. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of FC Melon:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kukova United:s goal. Matej Adamec kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Simon Manex made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matej Adamec in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, FC Melon's goalkeeper Ján Tuleja had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olof Wiberg. Ján Tuleja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olof Wiberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ján Tuleja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olof Wiberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Simon Manex made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Kudlak in the 40th minute of play. Kukova United's Olof Wiberg got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ján Tuleja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olof Wiberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. FC Melon's Ján Tuleja proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save FC Melon from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Ftáčnik in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ján Tuleja saved FC Melon from getting behind. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olof Wiberg to make the kick off. The supporters of FC Melon booed when Kukova United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matúš Kriššák didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Kudlaks short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Simon Manex to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ján Tuleja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Malý in the 59th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, FC Melon's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Malý came free, but Ján Tuleja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matej Adamec in the 61st minute of play forced Kukova United's goalkeeper Simon Manex to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Melon's Ján Tuleja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacek Gotfryd in the 64th minute of play. FC Melon's Peter Holub was substituted for Lukáš Hučka. When Kukova United's Daniel Ftáčnik in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Melon players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kukova United.
