In the 2nd minute Michal Hudák shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but František Huba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 4 minutes into the match, Burning Angels's goalkeeper František Huba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Žigmund Csontos. In the 4th minute, AFK Petržalka's Žigmund Csontos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Vernon De Marco hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute, AFK Petržalka's Michal Hudák ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind František Huba. František Huba yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. In the 22ndth minute of the game Michal Hudák who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Burning Angels's František Huba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Miroslav Jakubec struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Adam Hrdina didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Burning Angels. After 25 minutes of play, AFK Petržalka's Michal Hudák made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. František Huba was left in no man's land by his defense there! With his leg František Huba managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when AFK Petržalka's Žigmund Csontos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. František Huba was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Michal Hudák capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Michal Hudák really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. František Huba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Michal Hudák went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. In the 44th minute of the match AFK Petržalka got a corner. Burning Angels's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Peter Pekarík ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a defensive mix-up in Burning Angels's zone, Michal Hudák stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. František Huba came out of the goal and Michal Hudák tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Žigmund Csontos to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michal Hudák in the 57th minute of play forced Burning Angels's goalkeeper František Huba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 58 minutes of play, AFK Petržalka's Michal Hudák made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. František Huba was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Burning Angels's goalkeeper František Huba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. AFK Petržalka were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Burning Angels's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Peter Pekarík took the corner. František Huba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michal Hudák, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Michal Hudák sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Burning Angels booed when AFK Petržalka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Pekarík didn't get a good kick on the ball. AFK Petržalka's Nikola Krstović was substituted for Michal Hudák. A collision led to AFK Petržalka getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Peter Pekarík hit a great ball. František Huba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikola Krstović in the 81st minute of play. AFK Petržalka's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Peter Pekarík in the 82nd minute. Igor Bališ made a great header on AFK Petržalka's corner, it was just that Burning Angels's František Huba managed to reach the ball for a save. The throw-in from Róbert Petrek in the 92nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by AFK Petržalka's Peter Pekarík. In the 93rd minute, one of Burning Angels:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Burning Angels.
