AFK Petržalka's Michal Hudák managed to work through FC Lions Levice's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Li Wei Nan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michal Hudák in the 22nd minute of play. Li Wei Nan came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by AFK Petržalka's Michal Hudák. But to his dismay, Michal Hudák quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 27 played minutes AFK Petržalka got a freekick which was hit by Balázs Borbély. Adam Hrdina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wang Si Fei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half AFK Petržalka were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 68th minute, AFK Petržalka's Žigmund Csontos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Li Wei Nan. In the 76th minute Wang Si Fei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Hrdina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
