Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Michal Hudák might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ludwig Apelqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Michal Hudák ran back to his position shaking his head. 24 minutes into the match, FC FERNET BOYS's goal looked a bit too open when Michal Hudák came free, but Ludwig Apelqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC FERNET BOYS's goalkeeper Ludwig Apelqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, AFK Petržalka's Peter Pekarík got a free kick in the 29th minute. Adam Hrdina was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sergio Agüero. 35 minutes into the game, Michal Hudák cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ludwig Apelqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 39 minutes into the match, FC FERNET BOYS's Tomáš Michal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adam Hrdina narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the FC FERNET BOYS defense, Michal Hudák kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ludwig Apelqvist. The FC FERNET BOYS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ludwig Apelqvist should have stopped the shot. Žigmund Csontos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludwig Apelqvist having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

If Tomáš Michal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adam Hrdina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomáš Michal in the 53rd minute of play. Tomáš Michal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Hrdina having to interfere. If Ulryk Rutecki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Michal Hudák's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ludwig Apelqvist was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC FERNET BOYS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Peter Pekarík was slow to take the kick. During this time AFK Petržalka's players had a chance to rest. 66 minutes into the game, AFK Petržalka's Michal Hudák nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ludwig Apelqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Michal Hudák kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ludwig Apelqvist. That made the score 0-5 in the 72 minute of play. In the 75th minute, Michal Hudák reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ludwig Apelqvist. The goal made the score 0-6. The audience was convinced that Michal Hudák's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ludwig Apelqvist was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. AFK Petržalka made a substitution. Nikola Krstović replaced Michal Hudák. In the 82ndth minute of the game Nikola Krstović who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC FERNET BOYS's Ludwig Apelqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 83 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's goal looked a bit too open when Tomáš Michal came free, but Adam Hrdina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adam Hrdina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrej Ďuriš, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomáš Michal in the 92nd minute of play forced AFK Petržalka's goalkeeper Adam Hrdina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded.
