The demir idmanyurdu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Selmo Illescas should have stopped the shot. When Robert Siekierski got free in front of the goal in the 13th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Selmo Illescas was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Onur Ali Tulun in the 17th minute of play forced demir idmanyurdu's goalkeeper Selmo Illescas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oliver Oliver stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nistor Conta's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute Onur Ali Tulun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Selmo Illescas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oliver Oliver made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Prospero Perutxo sent off a good shot on target. After 45 minutes, Ulvi Nizami mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the demir idmanyurdu and the BOYABAT CELTIC FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th match minute, demir idmanyurdu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulvi Nizami to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nistor Conta to make the kick off. In the 62nd minute, Nistor Conta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 96th minute Nistor Conta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliver Oliver saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
