In the 4th match minute, Poppy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seyrani Pamiroğlu to maneuver through the defense. Sertel Adıvar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamit Koryürek in the 5th minute of play. Thierry Emry FC were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after Poppy FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mustafa Haydar Sağan took the corner. In the 23rdth minute of the game Şakir Salti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Poppy FC's Sertel Adıvar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hamit Koryürek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sertel Adıvar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute Hamit Koryürek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sertel Adıvar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute Thierry Emry FC were awarded a corner. Mustafa Haydar Sağan went to the cornerflag to take it. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Hamit Koryürek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thierry Emry FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hamit Koryürek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sertel Adıvar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sertel Adıvar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamit Koryürek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thierry Emry FC's Şakir Salti was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sertel Adıvar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Poppy FC booed when Thierry Emry FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gürhan Ünsi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Damian Brack fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Poppy FC's protests and gave Damian Brack a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 40th minute of the game. One of Poppy FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Thierry Emry FC:s goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Qu Ling Lin to make the kick off. Anıl Fırat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Sertel Adıvar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Qu Ling Lin in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henri-Patrick Widdepenninck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 54th minute, Egemen Orguntay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sertel Adıvar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamit Koryürek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Poppy FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Steevy Cheret hit a great ball. In the 65thth minute of the game Qu Ling Lin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Thierry Emry FC's Henri-Patrick Widdepenninck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hamit Koryürek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Sertel Adıvar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thierry Emry FC's Anıl Timurtas was substituted for Gürhan Ünsi. 75 minutes into the match, Hamit Koryürek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sertel Adıvar. Poppy FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hamit Koryürek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Qu Ling Lin took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henri-Patrick Widdepenninck. Henri-Patrick Widdepenninck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Patrik Flinck charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patrik Flinck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st minute, Patrik Flinck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sertel Adıvar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamit Koryürek in the 82nd minute of the match. Hamit Koryürek might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sertel Adıvar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hamit Koryürek ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Poppy FC's goalkeeper Sertel Adıvar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sertel Adıvar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hamit Koryürek showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 87 minute of play. Şakir Salti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sertel Adıvar having to interfere. In the 90th match minute, Poppy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Hafiz Kumanbay to maneuver through the defense. Şakir Salti's late challenge caught a Poppy FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Şakir Salti helped the player get up and apologised. After 91 played minutes Thierry Emry FC got a freekick which was hit by Şakir Salti. Poppy FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Hamit Koryürek scored to the left of an out of position Sertel Adıvar, making the score, 2-5.
