In the 3rd minute of the match Qu Ling Lin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ege Han showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bilgin Gündem had several of the Poppy FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 13 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Sertel Adıvar as he didn't even see the shot coming. Ege Han showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qu Ling Lin, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 21st minute Qu Ling Lin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ege Han saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Cebrail İcabi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sertel Adıvar was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cebrail İcabi in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sertel Adıvar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bilgin Gündems short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Sertel Adıvar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 36 minutes into the game, Dylon Chadwick was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Poppy FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BinDokuzYüzYirmiBeş the free kick. Dylon Chadwick kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Cebrail İcabi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sertel Adıvar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Patrik Flinck's late challenge caught a BinDokuzYüzYirmiBeş's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patrik Flinck helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th match minute, Poppy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrik Flinck to maneuver through the defense. Sertel Adıvar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bilgin Gündem in the 39th minute. After taking down the ball on BinDokuzYüzYirmiBeş's corner Demircan Eski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sertel Adıvar quite easily take care of the ball. Ege Han showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Qu Ling Lin in the 43rd minute of the match. Poppy FC were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after BinDokuzYüzYirmiBeş's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Qu Ling Lin took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Patrik Flinck heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 47th minute Bilgin Gündem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sertel Adıvar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sertel Adıvar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 65 minutes, Egemen Orguntay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Poppy FC and the BinDokuzYüzYirmiBeş players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 65 played minutes Poppy FC got a freekick which was hit by Egemen Orguntay. Demircan Eski might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sertel Adıvar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Demircan Eski ran back to his position shaking his head. Sertel Adıvar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bilgin Gündem in the 72nd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Ege Han successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some careless play in the BinDokuzYüzYirmiBeş defense, Patrik Flinck kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ege Han. The BinDokuzYüzYirmiBeş fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ege Han should have stopped the shot. After 91 played minutes Poppy FC got a freekick which was hit by Qu Ling Lin. The audience was convinced that Bilgin Gündem's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sertel Adıvar was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Despite being the better team, Poppy FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
