Through an outstanding action, after 4 minutes, Leonard Gregersen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ruzgar Gibi Geçti fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 6th minute. Penalty! Ruzgar Gibi Geçti's Sikstas Ferdi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilian Bâlea in the 9th minute of play. Gao Xi Di hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Ray Ruth took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Leonard Gregersen to make any attempt to save it. Emilian Bâlea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sikstas Ferdi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Sikstas Ferdi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Paşa, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After 34 played minutes Ruzgar Gibi Geçti got a freekick which was hit by Corneliu Corocăescu. Sikstas Ferdi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilian Bâlea in the 38th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Emilian Bâlea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sikstas Ferdi. Ruzgar Gibi Geçti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emilian Bâlea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Nevşehirspor's Leonard Gregersen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Nevşehirspor from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emilian Bâlea was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ray Ruth in the 51st minute of play forced Nevşehirspor's goalkeeper Leonard Gregersen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonard Gregersen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rómeó Julia, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Cabbar Müfit hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The supporters of Nevşehirspor booed when Ruzgar Gibi Geçti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaptan Tevfik didn't get a good kick on the ball.
