With an all-out effort, TAVSANCALI ÖMERANLISPOR's Yunus Civan threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Yusuf Mbappè, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Yunus Civan made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Şeref Ayhan sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as TAVSANCALI ÖMERANLISPOR's Yusuf Mbappè slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Yunus Civan. That made the score 1-0 after 20 minutes of play. Agah Özver recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ionel Zamfirescu came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Trabzonspor's Agah Özver. But to his dismay, Agah Özver quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ionel Zamfirescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bedrettin Özaktuğ, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Ionel Zamfirescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agah Özver, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yusuf Mbappè to strike the kick off in the second half. Yunus Civan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yusuf Mbappè, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Ionel Zamfirescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agah Özver in the 59th minute. Yunus Civan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yusuf Mbappè in the 68th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Agah Özver dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ionel Zamfirescu, 1-2. Trabzonspor's Vacid Oğuzata was substituted for Lucio Claus. TAVSANCALI ÖMERANLISPOR made a substitution. Teodor Moți replaced Yusuf Josefsson. TAVSANCALI ÖMERANLISPOR made a substitution. Ahmet Kadri Toralp replaced Iwo Hajto. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Duran Ersan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trabzonspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Duran Ersan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ionel Zamfirescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 79 played minutes TAVSANCALI ÖMERANLISPOR got a freekick which was hit by Urban Åkerberg. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Duran Ersan in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ionel Zamfirescu saved TAVSANCALI ÖMERANLISPOR from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Duran Ersan put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Ionel Zamfirescu. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Trabzonspor had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
