Jardel de Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludomir Lanczak, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Efekan Ballıoğlu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Michel van der Bij was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulvi Nezir got free with Michel van der Bij in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ludomir Lanczak to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Samsunspor's Vinicio Cordeiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Michel van der Bij made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After 92 minutes, Emilio Araoz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ISPARTASPOR U21 and the Samsunspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some careless play in the Samsunspor defense, Mitch Batshuayi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jardel de Carvalho. The Samsunspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jardel de Carvalho should have stopped the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the ISPARTASPOR U21 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Samsunspor.
