The supporters of TR - UYANIŞ KIZILELMA - booed when Kültepe Spor Kulübü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alp Gence didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arno Jahe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kültepe Spor Kulübü's Rüknettin Demirbaş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arno Jahe in the 6th minute of play. Orhan Veli Maksut hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After 14 minutes of play, TR - UYANIŞ KIZILELMA -'s Arno Jahe made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rüknettin Demirbaş was left in no man's land by his defense there! 21 minutes into the match, Kültepe Spor Kulübü's goal looked a bit too open when Mustafa Hakan Şükür came free, but Rüknettin Demirbaş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arno Jahe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rüknettin Demirbaş read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Arno Jahe took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rüknettin Demirbaş. Rüknettin Demirbaş dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Rüknettin Demirbaş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Hakan Şükür, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute Arno Jahe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rüknettin Demirbaş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Mustafa Hakan Şükür had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rüknettin Demirbaş. Kültepe Spor Kulübü's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mustafa Hakan Şükür was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. After the first half TR - UYANIŞ KIZILELMA - were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mustafa Hakan Şükür to make the kick off. Chet Baker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Rüknettin Demirbaş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Kültepe Spor Kulübü defense, Mustafa Hakan Şükür kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rüknettin Demirbaş. The Kültepe Spor Kulübü fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rüknettin Demirbaş should have stopped the shot. In the 56th minute, TR - UYANIŞ KIZILELMA -'s Irinel Balotă ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rüknettin Demirbaş. Kültepe Spor Kulübü's Rüknettin Demirbaş proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Kültepe Spor Kulübü from getting a goal against them. If Mustafa Hakan Şükür had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, TR - UYANIŞ KIZILELMA -'s goal looked a bit too open when Gökberk Beytekin came free, but Cláudio-André Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mustafa Hakan Şükür could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Rüknettin Demirbaş made a huge save. Kültepe Spor Kulübü's Rüknettin Demirbaş proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Kültepe Spor Kulübü from getting a goal against them. Arno Jahe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 75 minutes into the game, Mustafa Hakan Şükür recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rüknettin Demirbaş. Mustafa Hakan Şükür showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-11. 77 minutes into the match, TR - UYANIŞ KIZILELMA -'s Arno Jahe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rüknettin Demirbaş narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 79 minutes into the game, Arno Jahe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-12. Rüknettin Demirbaş was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kültepe Spor Kulübü's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Mustafa Hakan Şükür scored to the left of an out of position Rüknettin Demirbaş, making the score, 0-14. 91 minutes into the game, Mustafa Hakan Şükür lined in a short shot 0-15 behind a frustrated Rüknettin Demirbaş. Thanks to some nice moves Arno Jahe could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which Rüknettin Demirbaş however easily saved by the left post. Irinel Balotă blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rüknettin Demirbaş having to make a save.
