Wout Weghorst might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aşkın Özgunes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wout Weghorst ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 5th minute Wout Weghorst shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aşkın Özgunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yngve Lindqvist hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Sacit Budak successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Balaban Mirkelam could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Sacit Budak made a huge save. In the 11th minute Benjamin Mikolas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aşkın Özgunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aşkın Özgunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yngve Lindqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 minutes of play, 1903 Barranspor ☪'s Wout Weghorst made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aşkın Özgunes was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, 1903 Barranspor ☪'s Sacit Budak got control of the ball when Bozkurt Veysi tried to sneak it across the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, 1903 Barranspor ☪'s goal looked a bit too open when Balaban Mirkelam came free, but Sacit Budak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wout Weghorst made a kick off. Wout Weghorst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aşkın Özgunes having to interfere. A throw-in in the 56th minute of the game was made by Herve de Neuyter with Balaban Mirkelam as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Wout Weghorst's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aşkın Özgunes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. After some careless play in the Soulfly F.C. defense, Wout Weghorst kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aşkın Özgunes. The Soulfly F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aşkın Özgunes should have stopped the shot. 1903 Barranspor ☪ were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Soulfly F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Yngve Lindqvist took the corner. The corner led 1903 Barranspor ☪'s Yngve Lindqvist to fire away a dangerous shot which Aşkın Özgunes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Soulfly F.C.'s goalkeeper Aşkın Özgunes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aşkın Özgunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wout Weghorst in the 74th minute of the match. If Wout Weghorst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aşkın Özgunes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wout Weghorst's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Wout Weghorst took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aşkın Özgunes. Aşkın Özgunes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Benjamin Mikolas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aşkın Özgunes having to interfere. Aşkın Özgunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wout Weghorst in the 97th minute of the match.
