The Laboon SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Farid Mondragon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yan Sha Yin's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Xacintu in the 13th minute of play forced Laboon SK's goalkeeper Şener Irmak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Levan Dost received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Şener Irmak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25thth minute of the game Yan Sha Yin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's Farid Mondragon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Farid Mondragon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tayyip Toktuğ, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 36thth minute of the game Leonides Xacintu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Laboon SK's Şener Irmak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vincent Kompany hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

54 minutes into the match, Laboon SK's goal looked a bit too open when Cihangir Türkol came free, but Şener Irmak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cüneyd Kutkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Şener Irmak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Levan Dost, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gökdeniz Karadeniz really showed his touch with that goal: 3-3. Gökdeniz Karadeniz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Farid Mondragon came out and tried to block the shot, but Gökdeniz Karadeniz slotted it home off the left post making it 3-4 in the 78th minute. Leonides Xacintu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Şener Irmak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacobo Refugio in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute Ferhan Saik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şener Irmak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonides Xacintu scored 4-4 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Şener Irmak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Şener Irmak came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's Ferhan Saik. But to his dismay, Ferhan Saik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-4.
