Duda Viana made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Yan Sha Yin sent off a good shot on target. Yan Sha Yin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Duda Viana made a huge save. Ahmet Gökalp Cengel's late challenge caught a Laboon SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yaşar Akbuğ received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Şener Irmak came out and tried to block the shot, but Yaşar Akbuğ slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 74th minute. Şener Irmak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5.
