Müslüm Gencer made in the 4th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Tayyip Toktuğ. Alp Eren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Şener Irmak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Korcan Gökalp in the 13th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Laboon SK defense, Alp Eren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Şener Irmak. The Laboon SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Şener Irmak should have stopped the shot. Şener Irmak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dilmen Osmanlı in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Çelik Kutbay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lokomotiv Bornova's Sezai Yura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tayyip Toktuğ in the 31st minute of play. Sezai Yura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tayyip Toktuğ, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After 33 played minutes Lokomotiv Bornova got a freekick which was hit by Alp Eren. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Germanas Judeikis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lokomotiv Bornova's supporters rose to their feet, but Germanas Judeikis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Şener Irmak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cüneyd Kutkan got free with Sezai Yura in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yan Sha Yins short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Sezai Yura to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 44th minute Tayyip Toktuğ shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sezai Yura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lokomotiv Bornova's Sezai Yura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yan Sha Yin in the 45th minute of play. After 46 played minutes Laboon SK got a freekick which was hit by Çelik Kutbay. Şener Irmak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Germanas Judeikis in the 47th minute of the match. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lokomotiv Bornova's goalkeeper Sezai Yura, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Germanas Judeikis to make the kick off. Şener Irmak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Germanas Judeikis's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Germanas Judeikis might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Şener Irmak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Germanas Judeikis ran back to his position shaking his head. Şener Irmak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Germanas Judeikis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the game, Laboon SK's Tayyip Toktuğ nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sezai Yura made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Şener Irmak made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Germanas Judeikis sent off a good shot on target. Şener Irmak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germanas Judeikis in the 67th minute of play. After having played for 70 minutes, Germanas Judeikis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lokomotiv Bornova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Germanas Judeikis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sezai Yura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gökdeniz Karadeniz in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Bornova's goal looked a bit too open when Yan Sha Yin came free, but Sezai Yura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Germanas Judeikis in the 76th minute of play forced Laboon SK's goalkeeper Şener Irmak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sezai Yura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yan Sha Yin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Germanas Judeikis struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Şener Irmak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lokomotiv Bornova. With a little luck, Laboon SK's Şener Irmak got control of the ball when Ahmet Korcan Gökalp tried to sneak it across the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Laboon SK's goalkeeper Şener Irmak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Germanas Judeikis.
