Levan Dost blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frank Matanov having to make a save. Farid Mondragon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ömer Demirci, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute, Levan Dost left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Farid Mondragon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atabey Budaklı in the 27th minute of play. Farid Mondragon came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Cisco Birlik FC's Veysel Koçarslan. But to his dismay, Veysel Koçarslan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Farid Mondragon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Veysel Koçarslan, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute, Cisco Birlik FC's Fedele Mussi seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Fedele Mussi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Cisco Birlik FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Fedele Mussi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Bruno Baptista might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frank Matanov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bruno Baptista ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 46th minute of the match 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB got a corner. Cisco Birlik FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bruno Baptista ran over to the corner to take the kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Levan Dost to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's goal looked a bit too open when Veysel Koçarslan came free, but Farid Mondragon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Farid Mondragon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cisco Birlik FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jelmer Pander in the 57th minute. Cisco Birlik FC's Atabey Budaklı was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Farid Mondragon in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Levan Dost scored 2-2 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frank Matanov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Farid Mondragon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Veysel Koçarslan in the 73rd minute of the match. Cisco Birlik FC's Frank Matanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Xacintu in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute Leonides Xacintu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Matanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Vincent Kompany hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB made a substitution. Ahmet Ozan Batıkan replaced Vincent Kompany. 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's Ferit Yerlikaya was substituted for Bruno Baptista. Vincent Kompany kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Cisco Birlik FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
