Carlos Fernando Albuquerque started the match with the kick off. Ferdi Kadıoğlu might have been able to make a better finish in the 2nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gustaf Holm. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tālis Cam in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arda Göksel Yalman saved Bozkurt from getting behind. Bozkurt's Arda Göksel Yalman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abu Bakar in the 26th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Stylus United's goal looked a bit too open when Kai Havertz came free, but Gustaf Holm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arda Göksel Yalman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tālis Cam in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abu Bakar in the 42nd minute of play forced Bozkurt's goalkeeper Arda Göksel Yalman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaf Holm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kai Havertz, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Kai Havertz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bozkurt's supporters rose to their feet, but Kai Havertz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustaf Holm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 75th match minute, Stylus United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abu Bakar to maneuver through the defense. Bozkurt's Emmet McAaron was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gustaf Holm in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 91st minute Albin Abrahamsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaf Holm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yaser Oğuzman in the 93rd minute of play forced Stylus United's goalkeeper Gustaf Holm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Bozkurt's Mustafa Hakan Sufi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gustaf Holm made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 97 played minutes Bozkurt got a freekick which was hit by Albin Abrahamsson. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
