After 51 played minutes Fenerbahçe got a freekick which was hit by Necdet Hekimhanlı. Bergamaspor's Yakup Nurkan got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Suat Kayı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nejat Küdüs having to interfere. Bergamaspor's Mateusz Marchewka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kerem Ertaş in the 63rd minute of play. In the 67th minute, Yakup Nurkan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Yakup Nurkan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nejat Küdüs. Fenerbahçe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yakup Nurkan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After 83 played minutes Fenerbahçe got a freekick which was hit by Necdet Hekimhanlı. Yakup Nurkan took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nejat Küdüs. Nejat Küdüs dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 92 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe's goal looked a bit too open when Everardo Sotero came free, but Nejat Küdüs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bergamaspor walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
