When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Serter Usal sped through Fenerbahçe's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nejat Küdüs. Momčilo Janič took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nejat Küdüs. Nejat Küdüs dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Ahmet Necdet Secavend made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ekrem Arslantürk in the 11th minute. In the 12th match minute, Fenerbahçe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Korcan Deryace to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Momčilo Janič had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nejat Küdüs. Fenerbahçe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Momčilo Janič was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The audience was convinced that Momčilo Janič's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nejat Küdüs was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, San Marino İdman Yurdu's Lisandro Rojas got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Momčilo Janič in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nejat Küdüs prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 36thth minute of the game Momčilo Janič who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fenerbahçe's Nejat Küdüs was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Momčilo Janič in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nejat Küdüs saved Fenerbahçe from getting behind. Nejat Küdüs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Momčilo Janič in the 80th minute of play. After 81 minutes of play, San Marino İdman Yurdu's Momčilo Janič made it 0-15 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nejat Küdüs was left in no man's land by his defense there! Momčilo Janič sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 88 minutes into the match, Serter Usal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nejat Küdüs, 0-16. If Momčilo Janič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, San Marino İdman Yurdu's Momčilo Janič ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nejat Küdüs. Nejat Küdüs yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-17. San Marino İdman Yurdu's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
