In the 10th minute, ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK's Martin Cordarrell ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Xove Tijerina. Xove Tijerina yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 13th minute Gunter Waller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xove Tijerina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, POZANTI SPOR's goalkeeper Xove Tijerina had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eddy Rüegsegger. Xove Tijerina made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when 严志川 sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK's Göktürk Tuncal got a free kick in the 18th minute. Xove Tijerina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunter Waller in the 20th minute of the match. Taha Günden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dursun Yılğıralp, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Juan-Carlos Franques's late challenge caught a ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan-Carlos Franques helped the player get up and apologised. ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK's Hazım Başdoğan shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 29th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Xove Tijerina but with some difficulty. In the 30th minute, Martin Cordarrell made a precise shot to the right of Xove Tijerina. POZANTI SPOR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 34th minute Ahmet Ege Kerimhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taha Günden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 minutes of play, POZANTI SPOR's Dursun Yılğıralp made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Taha Günden was left in no man's land by his defense there! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dursun Yılğıralp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Taha Günden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mattias Claudinger, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 严志川's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xove Tijerina read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after POZANTI SPOR's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hazım Başdoğan took the corner. After taking down the ball on ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK's corner Hazım Başdoğan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Xove Tijerina quite easily take care of the ball. 61 minutes into the match, ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK's goal looked a bit too open when Yusuf Salah came free, but Taha Günden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, POZANTI SPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Gunter Waller came free, but Xove Tijerina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xove Tijerina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddy Rüegsegger in the 72nd minute of play. Çelikan Unan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. POZANTI SPOR made a substitution. Vaino Juura replaced Mattias Claudinger. The corner ended in Çelikan Unan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK's Taha Günden did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK's zone, Ahmet Ege Kerimhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Taha Günden came out of the goal and Ahmet Ege Kerimhan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 严志川 in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xove Tijerina prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dursun Yılğıralp struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Taha Günden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for POZANTI SPOR. POZANTI SPOR's Utku Yanar was substituted for Çelikan Unan. Martin Cordarrell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xove Tijerina read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute Martin Cordarrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xove Tijerina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunter Waller in the 94th minute of play forced POZANTI SPOR's goalkeeper Xove Tijerina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hazım Başdoğan made a great header on ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK's corner, it was just that POZANTI SPOR's Xove Tijerina managed to reach the ball for a save. ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
