In the 11th minute, Ronaldinho Gaucho made a precise shot to the right of Jon Calatayud. Palestine's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Ronaldinho Gaucho took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jon Calatayud. Jon Calatayud dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 27 minutes into the match, Büyükada Commandos's goal looked a bit too open when Enis Behiç Cangun came free, but Gianluca Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Palestine:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Büyükada Commandos:s goal. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palestine's goalkeeper Jon Calatayud, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 38th match minute, Palestine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nihat Tura to maneuver through the defense. If Ronaldinho Gaucho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jon Calatayud showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldinho Gaucho in the 43rd minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Enis Behiç Cangun was the one to do the kick off. When Ronaldinho Gaucho came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Büyükada Commandos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronaldinho Gaucho couldn't finish the play. Ronaldinho Gaucho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldinho Gaucho in the 56th minute of play forced Palestine's goalkeeper Jon Calatayud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Palestine's Enis Behiç Cangun got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Büyükada Commandos's Mirza Nevzat was substituted for Hakan Calhanoglu. 68 minutes into the match, Palestine's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldinho Gaucho came free, but Jon Calatayud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Palestine's Süruri Cihansah was substituted for Enis Behiç Cangun. Palestine's Yağız Sungurbay was substituted for Cemil Erkılınç. Palestine's Yasin Türünk was substituted for Roman Rothenberger. Enis Behiç Cangun hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Ronaldinho Gaucho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jon Calatayud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldinho Gaucho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Mehmet Hamdi Mürsel in the 74th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Palestine's Nihat Tura. Jon Calatayud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldinho Gaucho, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Nihat Tura in the 80th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Büyükada Commandos's Mehmet Hamdi Mürsel. Palestine's Nihat Tura quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mehmet Hamdi Mürsel, made in the 87th minute of the game. With a little luck, Palestine's Jon Calatayud got control of the ball when Hüseyin Turan Esay tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Büyükada Commandos supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Büyükada Commandos would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
