Frank Fiori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Cayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. ErbaA KartaLı's Serter Doğay quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fredric Nietzsche, made in the 14th minute of the game. 20 minutes into the match, ErbaA KartaLı's goal looked a bit too open when Kıvanç Doğu came free, but Frank Fiori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante 舒 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serter Doğay, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After 30 minutes, Serter Doğay made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Samsunspor's Dante 舒 tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, ErbaA KartaLı's Gaspar Vermudo got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute, ErbaA KartaLı's Alesandro Nesta seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alesandro Nesta the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of ErbaA KartaLı protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alesandro Nesta had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 35th minute of the game. One of ErbaA KartaLı:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Samsunspor:s goal. ErbaA KartaLı:s Frank Fiori showed great skill when he stopped Bambang Wiatr:s penalty. After 40 played minutes ErbaA KartaLı got a freekick which was hit by Joseph Yobo. Bambang Wiatr struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Frank Fiori didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Samsunspor. A collision led to Samsunspor getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Bambang Wiatr hit a great ball. In the 46th minute, Dorukhan Uran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Serter Doğay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Serter Doğay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bambang Wiatr made in the 56th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Kıvanç Doğu however managed to control. Frank Fiori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilla Onultan, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Samsunspor's goalkeeper Dante 舒 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dorukhan Uran. ErbaA KartaLı's Frank Fiori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilla Onultan in the 65th minute of play. With a little luck, Samsunspor's Dante 舒 got control of the ball when Dorukhan Uran tried to sneak it across the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Samsunspor's goal looked a bit too open when Serter Doğay came free, but Dante 舒 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hasan Kaim took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dante 舒. Atilla Onultan hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Samsunspor's Fredric Nietzsche got a free kick in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorukhan Uran in the 94th minute of play forced Samsunspor's goalkeeper Dante 舒 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ErbaA KartaLı walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
