Temel Urangu was shown his second yellow card after 29 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. ReD DeeRs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. 33 minutes into the match, ReD DeeRs's goal looked a bit too open when Constantijn Airpoel came free, but Melih Özyurek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ulaş Akbatur made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Muharrem Sebih in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melih Özyurek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gençlerbirliği played a much better game than ReD DeeRs and deserved their victory. The ReD DeeRs players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
