Gökay Ömür was slow to take the kick. During this time Valar morghulis's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Valar morghulis's Arif Egemen Ruzi getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Rüştü Rencber made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Tolga Yeğiner sent off a good shot on target. Rüştü Rencber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tolga Yeğiner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Selçuk Reca made in the 15th minute of the game a quick throw-in and İsa Fındık immediately put the ball in play. Valar morghulis's Rüştü Rencber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tolga Yeğiner in the 16th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Tolga Yeğiner kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rüştü Rencber. That made the score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tolga Yeğiner got free with Rüştü Rencber in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Tolga Yeğiner sped through Valar morghulis's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rüştü Rencber. Rüştü Rencber made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tolga Yeğiner in the 34th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gökay Ömür couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when İsa Fındık got free with İsa Ulaç in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The 1863 Boğaziçi Revizyon fans cheered their team off the field, for while Valar morghulis had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
