The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Coriano FC got a freekick which was hit by Ercole Tomasso. In the 15th minute Jerzy Drzewucki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Urbani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cesare Placidi made in the 22nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Warren FC - DMZ's Hélio Nascimento. Edmund Hoffman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mortimer Rahamut in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34thth minute of the game Jerzy Drzewucki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coriano FC's Angelo Urbani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jerzy Drzewucki might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelo Urbani. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jerzy Drzewucki ran back to his position shaking his head. Angelo Urbani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerzy Drzewucki, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Angelo Urbani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerzy Drzewucki in the 40th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Ladislao Bermudo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Warren FC - DMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Ladislao Bermudo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Urbani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jerzy Drzewucki to make the kick off. Warren FC - DMZ's Hélio Nascimento managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cesare Placidi in the 52 minute of the game. In the 54th minute, Jerzy Drzewucki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Warren FC - DMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Warren FC - DMZ's Edmund Hoffman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberigo Alonzi in the 57th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Warren FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Ercole Tomasso came free, but Edmund Hoffman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jerzy Drzewucki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angelo Urbani having to make a save. 67 minutes into the game, Jerzy Drzewucki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Angelo Urbani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Coriano FC's Wayne Ketelers got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Angelo Urbani successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Warren FC - DMZ's Zé Pedro Pombal was substituted for Jerzy Drzewucki. After 79 minutes, Zé Pedro Pombal made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Coriano FC's Angelo Urbani tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Angelo Urbani managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Warren FC - DMZ's Zé Pedro Pombal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Warren FC - DMZ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
