Tanio Lezaeta started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Talcampeón FC booed when Riesgo Cero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorio Tartalo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Talcampeón FC's José Francisco Maffey got a free kick in the 9th minute. Benicio Arias came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Talcampeón FC's Tanio Lezaeta. But to his dismay, Tanio Lezaeta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 15 minutes into the game, Riesgo Cero's Alejandro Micael nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Apolo Larrañaga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Apolo Larrañaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Lia, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Clodoveo Pacho hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Riesgo Cero's Diego Lia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Apolo Larrañaga. That made the score 2-1 after 25 minutes of play. In the last second Apolo Larrañaga throw himself and got hold of the ball when Diego Lia in the 29thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Riesgo Cero's Benicio Arias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tanio Lezaeta in the 34th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Yeray Lisperguer made a precise shot to the right of Benicio Arias. Riesgo Cero's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diego Lia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Apolo Larrañaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudencio Rolado in the 51st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Prudencio Rolado in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Apolo Larrañaga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Riesgo Cero booed when Talcampeón FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Halat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clodoveo Pacho was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 63 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Riesgo Cero fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! 64 minutes into the match, Tanio Lezaeta notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Riesgo Cero's Benicio Arias. Benicio Arias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Anselmo Nerio fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Riesgo Cero's protests and gave Anselmo Nerio a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Talcampeón FC booed when Riesgo Cero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Nerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benicio Arias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tanio Lezaeta, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Benicio Arias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yeray Lisperguer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Talcampeón FC's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Lia came free, but Apolo Larrañaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Diego Lia fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Riesgo Cero's protests and gave Diego Lia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 88th minute, Diego Lia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
