Nereo Santxol's late challenge caught a Machine Gun Kelly's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nereo Santxol helped the player get up and apologised. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Edelmiro Chago put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Carolo Ruisko. In the 17th minute, Arnoldo Totakoxe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Basilio Pello kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, CAI NEUQUEN's Romulo Lleir sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carolo Ruisko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vicente Urtungo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 21 minutes into the match. Vicente Urtungo hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Serafin Lalla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nemesio Acuña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Jeremias Hitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, CAI NEUQUEN's Arnoldo Totakoxe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carolo Ruisko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carolo Ruisko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorato Eutropio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Machine Gun Kelly defense, Arnoldo Totakoxe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carolo Ruisko. The Machine Gun Kelly fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carolo Ruisko should have stopped the shot. In the 41st minute Nemesio Acuña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Lalla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half CAI NEUQUEN were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nemesio Acuña to strike the kick off in the second half. Honorato Eutropio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Machine Gun Kelly getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Anastasio Unai hit a great ball. After 73 played minutes Machine Gun Kelly got a freekick which was hit by Anier Herena. Carolo Ruisko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Honorato Eutropio in the 75th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Machine Gun Kelly's zone, Honorato Eutropio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carolo Ruisko came out of the goal and Honorato Eutropio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Arnoldo Totakoxe kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carolo Ruisko. That made the score 0-4 in the 81 minute of play. In the 84th minute, Anastasio Unai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the match, Cayetano Ihintza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Serafin Lalla. CAI NEUQUEN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cayetano Ihintza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. In the 94th match minute, CAI NEUQUEN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimeno Iban to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Machine Gun Kelly's Jeremias Hitz got a free kick in the 96th minute. CAI NEUQUEN's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
