Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The audience was convinced that Folke Vielmann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Corneliu Vulpăşin was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. The supporters of Unicorns ™ booed when DJK Füchtel Vechta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Agu didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Folke Vielmann in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Corneliu Vulpăşin saved Unicorns ™ from getting behind. Corneliu Vulpăşin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Folke Vielmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute of the match Felix Agu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Corneliu Vulpăşin skillfully saved the ball. Corneliu Vulpăşin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christoph Tiede, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. DJK Füchtel Vechta's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Felix Agu in the 20th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Unicorns ™'s goalie and right to Christoph Tiede. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Unicorns ™'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Folke Vielmann scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Corneliu Vulpăşin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Unicorns ™'s Tudor Bodea got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. DJK Füchtel Vechta's Kai Hilljegerdes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rareș Papadima in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to DJK Füchtel Vechta getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Niklaus Inderdohnen hit a great ball. Kai Hilljegerdes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rareș Papadima in the 35th minute of play. Unicorns ™'s Corneliu Vulpăşin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoph Tiede in the 37th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Unicorns ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Folke Vielmann came free, but Corneliu Vulpăşin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, DJK Füchtel Vechta's Jamal Gläsel got a free kick in the 45th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tudor Bodea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Helge Jakob recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 50th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Folke Vielmann fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DJK Füchtel Vechta's protests and gave Folke Vielmann a yellow card for diving instead. After 53 played minutes DJK Füchtel Vechta got a freekick which was hit by Folke Vielmann. Corneliu Vulpăşin was a little too slow when Christoph Tiede got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-2. DJK Füchtel Vechta's Folke Vielmann got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as DJK Füchtel Vechta's Folke Vielmann slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Corneliu Vulpăşin. That made the score 0-3 after 68 minutes of play. 81 minutes into the match, Unicorns ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Folke Vielmann came free, but Corneliu Vulpăşin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Jamal Gläsel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jamal Gläsel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corneliu Vulpăşin having to interfere. After 96 played minutes, Unicorns ™'s Aurel Huștiu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kai Hilljegerdes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Unicorns ™ reached it. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. DJK Füchtel Vechta had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
